All you and only you! The quickest way to realize the benefits of your Pilates practice and make steady progress on your fitness or recovery goals is with 1:1 instruction and coaching. Sessions take place in the comfort of a private home studio utilizing professional level Pilates equipment and conditioning tools that aid you in efficiently overcome training challenges. Workouts are customized to meet your individual and changing fitness needs, as well as to keep things fun and interesting. I also work to maintain a safe environment for all clients, including those with high-risk concerns. All Pilates equipment and props are throughly cleaned and sanitized between each session and the studio space utilizes a medical grade hepa-air purifier. In-person sessions are by appointment only and spaced to allow the extra time needed between sessions to maintain a sanitized, safe and private fitness experience.

As an adjunct to in-person sessions, you can maintain your fitness gains and workout routine with 1:1 Pilates conditioning sessions via Zoom. Virtual one-to-one sessions will keep you on track with your practice and my personalized guidance and coaching will help you stay focused and have fun while continuing to make progress on your fitness and well-being goals.

A yoga practice to unwind the body, quiet the mind and de-stress. Working on the floor, passive stretches with an emphasis on complete support and comfort, are held for longer time frames (five - 20 minutes). Bolsters, blankets, pillows and blocks are used to support each part of the body in the asanas so muscles have a chance to let go and deeply release. Breathing techniques pair with poses to calm the nervous system and mind for healing and a "reset" at the end of the day. Suitable for all levels.
This practice starts with several Yin poses to unkink the body and work into the fascia and joints of the body. (Stretch poses are held 3-5 mins before the body is warmed-up.) Then we shift to a slow, flowing pose sequence interspersed with briefly held postures. This class will help counteract the effects of a "sitting" work-life style, strengthen and nourish the joints, and support injury recovery. Suitable for all levels. Please remember to bring your own mat.
A moderately paced workout to increase stamina, strength and flexibility. A blend of Pilates, yoga flows, breath work, as well as strength-sport conditioning exercises will keep your body moving and challenged. Suitable for cross-training, sport conditioning, active agers and to counter a sitting-online work/school lifestyle. Modifications can be provided for injuries or chronic conditions, (contact Scotti prior to class to discuss). May utilize props as available: exercise bands, hand weights, ankle weights.
Learn the principles and practice the exercises of the classical Pilates mat series as developed by Joe Pilates. Pilates is a body-mind fitness practice that is low-impact and can be done at any age. Originally called "Contrology," every exercise is a breathing exercise and engages the full body. This class will focus on correct form and alignment in order to build stamina, strength and flexibility safely. The goal will be for students to proficient in the fundamental and beginning level exercises and progress to mastering the Level 3 mat series. Once you know the mat exercises and can perform them in a flowing routine - it is a workout that you can do anywhere - anytime. Classes will be taught to accommodate the general group class level with suggested modifications to for an individual's need and ability for a more, or less challenging workout. Please remember to bring your own mat.
A moderately paced workout that blends Pilates, yoga, breath work, and conditioning exercises to improve strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. By combining Pilates' emphasis on progressively challenging, core-centric movement and yoga's goal to build an equally strong body & mind, this class will support maintaining an active lifestyle or a safe way to start and build you fitness practice. Modifications will be provided as needed and props such as exercise bands, hand weights, yoga blocks may be utilized.
